“The flower which is single need not envy the thorns that are numerous” – Rabindranath Tagore

A hobby can be anything to everything. Hobbies constitute a varied group of activities such as  dancing, sketching, painting, singing, collecting music, craftwork, gardening, origami, adult  coloring, photography, swimming, coding, and many much more. It depends on our course of action  and passion for choosing the right Hobby for oneself.

It is well said that a healthy mind leads to a healthy body. A hobby is an excellent getaway for both  a healthy mind and body to coordinate with each other. To be specific, I have many  particular activities to spend my relaxation time, but I am more focused on GARDENING.

Before marriage when I was teenager, I have noticed my Mother Nature towards plantation. I  decided to devise a small garden of my own. Earlier in my small house after watching a serial Krishi  Darshan on DOORDARSHAN, I decided to create a small garden due to lack of space, I started my  first garden in my kitchen balcony with only three pots of different colored Roses. This is how  gardening helped me release the amplitude amount of natural painkiller in my whole family  after a stressful day. Gardening is the most accessible and manageable task for a human being.

Gardening has always helped me look towards a better life. It has maintained me to stay  submerged with my fondness for plants and blossoms. It is a form of recreational activity after my  school hours. Springing from botanical gardens to every miniature backyard, I have visited all of  them. Attending several gardens motivates me to produce a surplus of plant ROSES in my garden. After my marriage with the support of my husband, I fulfilled this hobby of mine in a flourish way.  We have a spacious bungalow and there is ample arable land attached to it. I have turned a fairly  big plot into a fruit and vegetable garden. We had different types of roses,  bougainvillea, Sevanti, Jasmine flowers and fruits like papaya, Guava, lemon and oranges in our  garden. We used to grow veggies like ladies finger, brinjal, and some leafy vegetables.
