The Horticulture Floriculture Society proudly presents the School Nutrition Garden Competition 2026, encouraging All Schools of Ghaziabad to turn available spaces into productive, healthy and sustainable gardens.
A School Nutrition Garden is much more than growing vegetables. It is a living classroom where children learn about nutrition, soil health, composting, biodiversity, food production and climate responsibility.

♻️ Composting and reduction of kitchen waste
🌍 Climate-conscious and sustainable practices
👩🌾 Hands-on learning about growing food
🤝 Greater participation of students, teachers and school staff
🏆 Competition Categories include:
• Best School Nutrition Garden
• Best Composting Practice
• Best Student Green Volunteer
• Best Teacher Coordinator
• Best Housekeeping Staff Support
The gardens will be assessed on design, vegetable diversity, composting, cleanliness, student participation, innovation, and harvest & utilisation.
This initiative is a small but meaningful step towards creating healthier children, greener schools and a more sustainable future.
